Two Servings of Fish Each Week


Fish is a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, which have been found to improve brain power. These healthy fats are linked to lower dementia and stroke risk and can help slow mental decline, especially as we age. For optimal intake, the American Heart Association recommends eating at least two servings of fish each week. Fatty fish such as salmon, mackerel, herring, lake trout, sardines and albacore tuna especially high in omega-3 fatty acids as well as good for the heart and help lower the risk of heart disease.
